Classes in this package support character sets in particular those not enlisted in IANA (www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets). This is the case of Kamenicky character set (Kamenicky encoding or JMK or KAM - tagging used on Epson matrix printers), andothers. The package facilitates arbitrary run-time modifications in mappings of these character sets. The version 1.5 has been improved for higher performance and modified to enable adding features of extensibility. The original features of character sets mutability and extractability have been also preserved and refined.
