The requirement of the application of the marketing concept in practice can bring a number of both latent and real discrepancies among the basic components of the value-creating chain. These discrepancies are manifested as disagreement, or unwillingnessto accept changes in the framework of departments forming the core of the value-generating chain, i.e. between sales - production - purchase. Places of conflicts arise with respect to companies in the internal and external interfaces. That means that their analysis and solution must take place not only within the value-generating chain of a company, but simultaneously within its supply chain.
