State of Play and Trends in Public and Private Sector Organisations: CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS FOR ORGANISATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN A COMPLEX WORLD
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper examines the role of project management as an enabler of organisational performance in the Australian context. Organisations that will flourish in this complex and fast-paced environment will be dynamic, in that they will be able to respond quickly to changes and deal effectively with rising complexity. Researchers at the University of Sydney have attempted to review the literature and define a list of Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for dynamic organisations. These perceived CSFs have been empirically tested to evaluate their relevance and relationship to holistic performance. This paper will discuss dynamic organisations and the role of project management as a performance enabler. It will propose a range of CSFs that have been rated as essential by a sample of organisations in Australia. This research will be extended to demonstrate how the CSFs will be used as part of larger research project aimed at modelling organisations.
