The paper highlights the problem of information-mathematical modeling of the manufacturing system for realizing various types of orders. Workstations in the discussed production formation are arranged in a series. However, each workstation consists of the defined number of tool centers. Different tools of the same type of performance can be placed in the same tool centre. The proposed system is controlled by means of heuristic algorithms to meet the stated criterion.
