The cooperation between family and school is an important activity that helps to create the relationship of parents to teachers and school. The preparation for this area of the teaching profession represents an inseparable element of the pregraduate preparation of future teachers. The article presents the research aimed at the examination of the self-efficacy of students - future teachers in their cooperation with pupils' families. The research also focuses on the evaluation of their competences and assumptions for this cooperation with families. We processed the research results through chosen statistical methods, and we found out that there are statistically significant differences in the self-efficacy of students - future teachers for the primary and secondary level of education in the area of cooperation with pupils's families.
