The aim of our work was focused on evaluation of the effect of variety, selected external parameters including year, locality, weather factors and level of agronomical treatment on starch content of winter wheat with different baking quality. In 2005 and2006 a set of 22 winter wheat varieties (E, A, B and C technological quality) registered in the Czech Republic was cultivated in 12 localities characterized by four different level of Lang?s Rain Factor (LRF) and in two levels of agronomical treatment.The results confirmed the high effect of genotype as well as the locality and treatment level on starch content in wheat grain.
