Transhumanism as a New Topic in Education

The notion of human enhancement and its interfacing with technologies to improve physical and cognitive abilities is new to education, which pertains to the primary question addressed in this paper: Where can we find room for integrating the topic of transhumanism into the national curriculum of primary schools? The main contribution of this paper is the formulation of issues and questions that highlight a deficit in the state curriculum concerning digital literacy connected with technological, ethical, and transcendent human education. The concept of transformative education, which provides an appropriate platform for contemplating the purpose of education as a sturdy foundation for the development of all topics, including those related to new technologies, is discussed.
