Le verbe « relire » en français signifie toujours « lire encore une fois », soit pour le plaisir, soit dans l’optique de vérifier ou corriger un écrit. Mais cette double définition est trop rudimentaire. Il est important d’observer quand, comment et pourquoi les locuteurs utilisent ce verbe. Dans cet article, nous voulons montrer que son emploi, sous certaines conditions morphosyntaxiques, herméneutiques et énonciatives, fonctionne comme un marqueur de délimitation du statut de pseudo-expert. À ces fins, nous avons constitué un corpus à partir de forums de discussion en ligne francophones dans le contexte de la sortie récente des séries Fondation (2021) et Les Anneaux de pouvoir (2022), toutes deux inspirées d'œuvres littéraires. Nous avons adopté une approche micro-sémantique basée sur la sémantique interprétative. Sans négliger la typologie des actes de langage ni une approche purement grammaticale, cette étude propose avant tout une analyse sémantique de ce corpus.

The verb relire in French always means “to read again”, either in the sense of reading again for pleasure, or reading with a view to checking or correcting a piece of writing. But this twofold definition is not enough. It’s important to observe when, how and why speakers use the verb. In this article, we want to show that the use of this verb, under certain morphosyntactic, hermeneutic and enunciative conditions, functions as a delimiting marker of the status of a pseudo-expert. To this end, we created a corpus based on French-language online discussion forums in the context of the recent releases of the series Foundation (2021) and Rings of Power (2022), both inspired by literary works. We adopted a micro-semantic approach based on interpretative semantics. Without neglecting the typology of the speech acts or a purely grammatical approach, this study proposes first and foremost a semantic analysis of this corpus.
