Paper is focused on monitoring and verification of behaviour of continuous welded rail on the bridges. By geodetic measurements are monitored four bridges in operated lines in the Czech Republic, where was laid continuous welded rail. The bridges were selected, because expansion lengths are nearby or longer than maximum of allowed effective spans, which were determined by monitoring and theoretical calculations in the past. A movement of the bridges constructions and rails was monitored in several phases of the geodetic measurements. Each of the measurements was evaluated and compared with the models constructing by finite element method. An effort was to determined unknown values on the models in such a way, that the behaviour of modeled systems weresimilar to real behaviour of systems in operated lines.
