Vehicle damage during parking manoeuvres
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The article is focused on problems of damage vehicles during low speed turning manoeuvres of vehicles, so called parking manoeuvres. Based on the analysis of real typical events investigated by insurance company, five crash tests related to the most common courses originated while parking were performed. Performed tests only deal with parking into and out of the row of perpendicularly standing vehicles because this is the most widespread way of parking. Two new vehicles from Skoda manufacturer and three other older ones have been used for tests. The course of the crash test itself was documented and the attention was aimed at individual damages of vehicles during manoeuvres. Searching of interaction of individual elements on vehicles for possibility of regressive demonstration of mutual correspondence has been especially discussed. The attention was also paid to characteristic damages caused by vehicle impact configuration. Further on the examples of gained data at qualifying real insured events dealt with by insurance companies are stated. The purpose of the experiments was to qualify the technical acceptance of origin of the given vehicle damage depending on the description of the insured event. For the analysis itself the comparative method with performed car crash tests has been used.
