Determination of quality parameters of apple juice of variety ´Golden Delicious´ using two types of Near Infrared spectrometers
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Soluble solid content (SSC) and moisture prediction using near infrared spectroscopy was carried out with juice of apple variety ´Golden Delicious´ harvested in six different locations in Czech Republic during the years 2018 to 2020. Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) using both a laboratory spectrometer Antaris II and a handheld MicroPhazir spectrometer were used to create calibration models to each quality parameter. Four individual calibration models were designed using samples harvested in season 2018. We tested 114 samples with NIRS Antaris II and 71 samples with MicroPhazir. We also develop internal cross validation using these samples. Total 50 samples from seasons 2019 and 2020 were used to external cross validation. The highest coefficient of determination of calibration R2 = 0.995 and ratio of prediction to deviation RPD = 3.751 were found for soluble solid content prediction using spectrometer Antaris II. All our results exhibited R2 and RPD exceeding 0.90 and 2.3, respectively, thus confirming good prediction of SSC and moisture using the near infrared spectroscopy.
