Dieser Artikel geht der Frage nach, wie die sogenannte pragmatische Wende in der Linguistik die Fremdsprachendidaktik geprägt hat. Dabei werden sowohl Teilbereiche der Pragmatik als auch der Fremdsprachendidaktik begrifflich aufgegriffen. Nach der Darstellung der theoretischen Grundlagen der Teildisziplinen Linguistik und Fremdsprachendidaktik wird aufgezeigt, wie die genannten Wissenschaftsdisziplinen miteinander verknüpft werden können, was für diesen Text von zentralem Interesse ist. Die Reflexion konzentriert sich auf die pragmatische Wende, die ein wichtiger Punkt für die Neuorientierung der sprachwissenschaftlichen Forschung in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts ist.

This article explores the question of how the so-called pragmatic turn in linguistics has shaped foreign language didactics. In doing so, sub-areas of pragmatics as well as foreign language didactics are taken up terminologically. After presenting the theoretical foundations of the sub-disciplines of linguistics and foreign language didactics, it is shown how the aforementioned academic disciplines can be interlinked, which is of central interest for this text. The reflection focuses on the area of the pragmatic turn, which was an important point for the reorientation of linguistic research in the second half of the 20th century
