Noise Level of road pavements and their acoustic characterization by CPX method according to technical specifications TP 259
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The issue of noise has become one of frequently discussed topics in Europe in the field of road infrastructure over the recent years. Noise is rated a key indicator due to its negative effects on the environment and human health. Regarding the road infrastructure, noise produced by vehicles has a number of sources, and one of these sources is noise that is generated at the interface of a tyre and road wearing course. In the Czech Republic, a technology of application of asphalt layers reducing noise level is still used in a limited extent. However, these technologies have their specific characteristics, advantages, but also drawbacks. Regarding the acoustic evaluation of these technologies, a new binding regulation of the Ministry of Transport, TP 259 Asphalt mixtures for low-noise wearing courses, is applied, which is discussed in this paper.
