This paper focuses on experimental research comparing the operating parameters of engines using fuels such as diesel, CNG/diesel, and LPG/diesel dual-fuel. A Cummins diesel engine model 135 kW with a compression ratio of 17.3 has been converted to dual-fuel operation. This engine is installed on a test station. The engine is tested at each speed of 1500, 1900, and 2300 rpm with the variable load so that the dual-fuel and diesel engines have equivalent power under the same operating conditions. The results show that the engine operates stably with CNG/diesel and LPG/diesel dual-fuel. CNG and LPG can replace about 55% of the total energy diesel, depending on the operating mode of the engine. In addition, the dual-fuel engine also significantly improves the temperature of exhaust gases compared to diesel.
