The article deals with pedagogical practices at university seeking a greater flexibility in university education teaching and providing opportunities for creative activities of graduate, Master degree students (field of study Social Policy and Social Work). The paper analyzes the theoretical potential of a teaching authority and performance of the key roles of a teacher ? researcher and pressure onto the overlapping typical roles of a student involved in research activities. The text interconnects the theoretical inputs and practical experience. It provides information about interconnecting the individual aspects of teaching and academic research activities.
