The paper focuses on the evaluation of the efficiency of training in organisations in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the paper is to evaluate the efficiency of training in organisations in the Czech Republic in the period from 10/2012 to 06/2013 and to compare the results obtained with the results from the previous period (10/2011 to 06/2012). A partial objective is to test dependencies between selected qualitative features in order to verify the conclusions made. The results revealed that only 44.4% of respondent organisations systematically evaluate its efficiency. The year-on-year increase in the number of organisations systematically evaluating employee training was 5.9%. The survey results also repeatedly confirmed that important factors determining the evaluation of training efficiency in organisations continue to include an organisation´s size, existence of a HR department and a developed HR strategy.
