Impact of intensity of growth in slaughter hog on the slaughter value
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Verification of the impact of the achieved intensity of growth on sectional indicators of the slaughter value in final hybrid pigs was the objective of this trial/test. The test was carried out in the hybrid pig-test-station on 199 heads of hybrids fromcommon combinations used in the Czech Republic. Three groups of the total intensity of growth from 700 g, 700 - 900 g, and over 900 g were evaluated in the test. While evaluating the percentage of shoulder and neck of pork a group of the lowest intens ityof growth and a group with the highest intensity of growth achieved statistically significant lowest percentage in the carcass. Identical trend was obtained even in the ratio of pork meat from shoulder and from the neck. Compared to that in respectof the chop and leg the overall ratio of the monitored parts as well as the ratio of meat on them was statistically evidently highest in animals with a medium intensity of growth (700 - 900g). The group of animals with a low intensity of growt
