The chapter presents the results of a quantitative transversal research of transferable competences. The aim of the research was to determine a subjective degree of saturation of transferable competences in students in a particular field of study and their statistical comparison and a subjective degree of significance of transferable competences for the labour market as seen by the students of a particular field of study. The research sample consisted of 225 students from three secondary vocational schools specializing in technical and scientific fields of study finished with schoolleaving examination (graduation). Using the U-test of Mann and Whitney it was concluded that there were statistically significant differences in the evaluation of transferable competences between technical and natural science fields of study. It was also found that in addition to the Communication in the mother tongue competence students perceived also Work with digital technologies and Sense of responsibility
