Readiness of the Czech school environment for the implementation of the Computational thinking principle
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Computer thinking is becoming an increasingly popular topic in schools around the world and is gradually making its way into Czech education as well. Education systems recognize that understanding the fundamentals of computer science and being able to apply computational thinking is key to success in today's digital society. On the other hand, schools are dealing with the lack of qualified teachers in this direction. The aim of the article is to focus on the readiness of Czech universities to implement the principles of Computational thinking at all levels of teacher education. The article shows how Czech universities react to the change and whether all levels of teacher education correspond to this change.
