In this paper, an issue bound with a quality assessment of teaching is analyzed corresponding with a feedback from university students. In the quantitative analysis, achieved results of questionnaires with a student evaluation of a teaching by one teacher are presented with dependences on the year of study. As another factor, an importance of items of a questionnaire was considered as a quality criterion of the teaching. This analysis is based on a hypotheses testing consisted of a comparison of those items that students highlighted as the quality criteria. In this contribution, significant differences in the assessment of the quality of teaching across years of study are analyzed. Conclusions of this paper can be suitably implemented in the area of the quality of the assessment at universities.
