STEAM LABS: 3D PRINTING AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This article introduces the long-term research project "Developing Thinking in 3D: STEAM Labs for Active Learning", which aims to integrate 3D printing into the educational environment of primary schools. The project links 3D modelling and printing with STEAM education principles and aims to develop students' spatial imagination, creative thinking and technical skills. The main aim of the project is to design a comprehensive educational program including interactive materials, hands-on exercises and projects that promote creative and critical thinking, teamwork and an inclusive approach to education that takes into account the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN). This paper will present the first phase of the project, which includes an analysis of the implementation of 3D technology in the educational process and an evaluation of its impact on the development of pupils' skills. Based on the results of the aforementioned analysis, recommendations and methodological materials for teachers and schools on how to easily introduce and use 3D printing in education will be proposed. These materials will also include practical solutions to promote inclusive education, allowing full participation of all pupils in the learning process.
