The teaching of technical subjects in first study years at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is time consuming, because the interest in study increases. There are also more students in part-time form. Teaching process is implementing not only in locationof university, but also in detached workplaces, which are situated about 100 km far from university. That is why it was necessary to change the way of teaching. So we introduced in some subjects electronic support of teaching with help of LMS Moodle. The using teaching materials had to fulfill requirements on individual access and creative teaching. They also had to consider students technical possibilities (access to Internet)
