Writing for Publication: Teacher Training was a presentation at an online international conference called Current issues in foreign language teaching 2022, held on June 17, 2022, in Slovakia. We presented research related to a joint collaborative project involving VSB-TUO, Czech Language Institute of the CAS, and Dana Driscoll from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA, during which we developed an online course "Writing for Publication: Teacher Training". The course is intended for academics and/or ESP teachers who aspire to teach writing for publication and had not had an opportunity to learn how. To understand the learning the course attendees undergo, we have designed an action research study and collected information at different points in time from seven course participants who attended our pilot run of the course.
