The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the possible applications of fuzzy sets in the HR management. The first part of this project is currently carried out by the AXIOM SW Company. At first, the use of the employees' evaluation will be demonstrated inthe paper. Further application is similar, the difference consists in the purpose - we will specify the suitability of a worker for the given working role. The level of competencies fulfilment of an employee is calculated as weighted average of fuzzy evaluations according to the specified competency model (in the first case) or to the all competency models (in the second case). Finally, the last example presented in this paper is in area of working team design. On basis of the Belbin Team Role Theory, the composition of team roles for a given employee and for given working role is represented by normalized fuzzy weights. Finally, the comparison of employees' team roles and team roles of a working role will be carried out.
