This paper attempts to summarise advantages and disadvantages of e-learning. In the first part I describe my experience with creating the first modules in the LMS Unifor and my first year with e-learning. I concentrate on the advantages e-learning brings, yet I also give an overview of problems I encountered. In the second part I compare my own experience with the feedback of my students, and in the final part I present several principles for designing such a course.
