Friendship in preschool children as a determinant supporting the inclusive approach in kindergarten
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The objective of the paper is to introduce the concept of ‘friendship’, which supports socialization and personalization of the child in a kindergarten environment. We believe that this area is very significant with respect to the amended version of the Education Act in the Czech Republic (1 September 2016) focusing on the application of inclusion in real school settings. The paper focuses on the structure of internalization based on children’s activities and behaviours. The paper presents an outline of applied research, which will be based on a qualitative approach. Data collection will be performed by means of an extensive research method – structured interview with open-ended responses. This will allow interpersonal contact with preschool children. This explorative tool will be used to collect answers, which will be recorded and assessed during a process of categorization. The interview will focus on five questions relating to friendship with an emphasis on joint activities, satisfying one’s own needs and strengthening one’s own status.
