The multilateral depiction of the Shoah events in the literature has considerable potential for presenting this line of World War II events to pupils and students at various levels of institutional education. We believe that through a multilateral view of defined events, recipients are led to consider different views, are encouraged to apply argumentation techniques and, last but not least, are led to eliminate schematic perception not only of a defined phenomenon but all events that are currently very actual. At the heart of the paper is a presentation of selected results of a sound research survey, in the centre of which was found the peace of reception and interpretation of selected artistic narratives, in the centre of which is a multilateral depiction of the Shoah events. In the chapter we present the results of pupils from the eighth and ninth year of primary school. Pupils worked with Ruta Sepetys´ publications Salt to the Sea and Between Shades of Gray.
