    The paper is devoted to the issue of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic in primary schools and school prevention methodologies. The aim of the paper is to focus on and bring information about what the work of prevention methodologists in primary schools looked like during distance learning. We focused on what problems they encountered in carrying out the work of methodologists online, what problems they solved with students during this situation and what are the benefits/ disadvantages of implementing methodological support in the field of prevention in this way. The paper is divide into two parts, theoretical and experimental. In the theoretical part, we bring knowledge about what is the position of school prevention methodologies in primary schools in the Czech Republic, we further define the areas with which school prevention methodologists most often meet and address in practice with students. The second part of the paper describes the research that we conducted in the framework of the presented issues. The main research problem was to find out how school methodologists worked with primary school students and what problems they encountered in implementing preventive measures during distance learning. We focused on the implementation of qualitative research and in the practical part, we bring, a description of the research sample, time schedule and organization of research, research tool, evaluation of research results and summary, conclusions of the research part.
