Physical activity of girls in dance physical education lessons
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Physical education (PE) is the key setting for the promotion of physical activity in most children. In national survey it is evident that dance, creative and aesthetic activities are highly popular among adolescent girls. In the case of girls dance should also promote positive attitudes to physical education and lifelong pursuit of physical activity. 241 girls (age = 16,0 +/- 1,6 let; body height = 165 +/- 6 cm, body weight = 53,6 +/- 8,2 kg) took part in dance PE lessons. 36 dance and aerobic dance PElessons were leaded in a habitual and progressive way. Accelerometer Caltrac, pedometer Omron HJ 102 and heart rate monitor Polar Vantage NT were used for monitoring physical activity in PE lessons.Progressivity of PE lessons did not lead to decrease inphysical activity in progressive PE lessons (Table 1). Higher physical activity of girls in habitual PE lessons than in progressive PE lessons appeared only in characteristics of active energy expenditure (F=4,71, p=0,03, 2=0,02) and numb
