Using Enterprise Social Media Networks to Foster Team-Level Collaboration in a Project Organization
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This study investigates how to enhance collaboration within a project organization through the implementation of an enterprise social network (ESN). The theoretical framework employed is the adaptive structuration theory (AST), which incorporates the concept of stable appropriation. The study utilizes a structural equation model to examine the impact of ESN on project success and customer satisfaction. By promoting collaboration through the use of ESN, organizations can benefit from improved communication, knowledge sharing, and coordination among team members. The AST framework provides a theoretical lens to understand the social dynamics and interactions within a project-based setting. Furthermore, the study explores the concept of stable appropriation, which refers to the consistent and effective utilization of ESN tools and features. The structural equation model is employed to analyze the influence of stable appropriation on project success and customer satisfaction. The findings suggest that fostering collaboration through ESN and promoting stable appropriation positively affects project success and customer satisfaction. Effective utilization of ESN tools facilitates efficient project management, enhances team productivity, and contributes to higher levels of customer satisfaction. These findings provide valuable insights for organizations seeking to improve collaboration within a project-based context. By implementing an ESN and promoting stable appropriation, companies can leverage the benefits of enhanced collaboration, ultimately leading to improved project outcomes and increased customer satisfaction.
