This paper investigates the use of bulk milk sample as an orientation indicator of health condition of Czech Fleckvieh dairy cows (farm GenAGRO Říčany, a.s.). Bulk milk samples were analysed during the period of 1.12.2013 to 25.2.2014 (n=87). The analysis included following parameters relationships: lactose content, chloride content, calcium content, somatic cell count and chloride-lactose ratio. Based on the results were found statistically significant relationships (P 0.05) between lactose content andsomatic cell count and between (P 0.05) somatic cell count and chloride-lactose ratio (and also between chloride-lactose ratio and chloride content - P 0.001). Other relationships between measured parameters were statistically non-significant (P 0.05).
