The Analysis of BRENS BARRIER Low Noise Barriers Used in Praha Hlubočepy
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Great emphasis is currently placed on reducing traffic induced noise emissions. In the effort to limit the installation of classical noise walls (NW) whose application is not always quite convenient, a low noise barrier (LNB), called Brens Barrier, was developed in the Czech Republic. In spring 2013, LNB was first used on a 214 m long trial section of a railway track (No. 520 A) in Praha – Hlubočepy. This section was subjected to the analysis of the Brens Barrier LNB used. The article describes the direct in-situ measurement that was performed before and after the installation of low noise barriers. The measured equivalent continuous sound pressure levels A LAeq served for the identification of the noise shielding efficiency of LNB. The next part of the article deals with the design of a model of the solved area in the LimA software. The major output from the software were numerical values of equivalent continuous sound pressure levels A LAeq computed at points identical to the points of the direct measurement, for a situation without and with the LNB application. Another output from the model were noise maps depicting noise zones around the solved railway track. The noise situation in the solved area without and with the LNB application is illustrated by cross sections showing the sound energy propagation from the source. In its last part, the article focuses on monitoring the technical condition of the LNB construction and its behaviour.
