We investigate a fully nonlinear degenerate parabolic system describing variabledensity flows of a two-component mixture through porous media. Using the Rothe method of semidiscretization in time we prove the global-in-time existence of weak solutions to the associated initial-boundary value problem under physically reasonable hypotheses on the data, the exponential constitutive equation and the mixed boundary conditions.
