The main aim of the whole project which this paper summarizes is to a find suitable way of processing and analyzing data obtained from vehicle simulators, focused mainly on the safety aspects of driving according to driver's age. In this paper there areshown results of analysis of technical outputs from the set of simulator experiments and results of subjective measures. For this research task there were performed several experiments with different setups of IVIS (mostly navigation systems) in the cockpit of driving simulator. From the results it is possible to derive parameters of such devices which should fit the elderly driver population best in means of safe manipulation during driving.
