Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The chapter discusses the use of innovative methods of operations research that can be applied for managerial work in the academic field. The various methods can be used independently, so chapter is divided into three sections that can be studied independently. Part 1 "Decision Analysis as a Tool for Competitive Advantage in School Practice" deals with theoretical analysis of competency models as a tool for managerial decision-making in the school environment. Part 2 called “Management Capacity in Field of Technical Education" deals with the design of a procedure to make it possible to evaluate the adequacy of span of control (number of immediate subordinate staff). The 3rd part "Optimized scheduling of education and research" focuses on identifying the concept that encourages the synergistic effect of interaction between teaching and research activities. An illustrative example is always used for its ease explanation. The chapter may be employed for the efficient management of the educational process. The research has been done with the purpose to promote and develop human resources, facilities, and infrastructure necessary to create an effective and efficient management of the educational process, teaching and research, as well as helping students to develop into experts and professionals in accordance with the field of study.
