Competitive environment lowers knowledge workers´ will to share their knowledge. These workers´ values for organizations namely consist in it is known about them, what ideas, counsels, knowledge and experience they helped their colleagues or their organizations at problem solving. If, however, they share knowledge, they lose their value step by step. Their collaborators learn namely from them and acquire their knowledge. In addition, there is a risk that the collaborators add to this workers´ knowledgetheir personal one and so they become for the organization more useful and needed, than the knowledge workers are themselves. Nevertheless, reasons for knowledge sharing exist ? e.g. reciprocity, reputation or altruism.
